Terms and Conditions
PASSPORT and TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
- PLEASE NOTE - Each traveler from overseas is obliged to bring a visa and a valid passport at all times. All travelers to Indonesia MUST present their passport valid at least 6 months from the date of arrival. In the case that there are travelers whose passport expiry date is less than six months, they will not be allowed to enter through Ngurah Rai Airport nor any other Indonesian main entrance port. ABL tours and travel cannot be held responsible for cases in which guest are refused to enter Indonesia due to passport and/or visa problems.
- Visa upon arrival: For a growing number of countries, Indonesia offers a visa upon arrival for tourists. Please check the website from the Indonesian embassy or consulate in your own country. If you choose to fly Garuda to enter Indonesia (Indonesia's national air carrier), visa can even arranged on board.
RATES:
All rates are quoted in US dollars except otherwise specified.
EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS
Differences in personal statement balances can occur and are due to the fluctuations with the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and bank processing time. ABL Tours and Travel Ltd. cannot hold the responsible for these differences
CHANGE OF BOOKINGS
Each change made on customers' request after a booking has been confirmed is charged A USD 50.00 administration fee, except for a few villas, for which is charged USD 100.00. Please be informed that changes cannot necessarily be accommodated in all cases. Change of bookings to be interpreted as change of villa/ villa type and/or travel date and/or duration of stay.
In case ABL has to change the accommodation of your choice due to force majeure, ABL guarantees to inform customer immediately and will offer an at least similar accommodation.
SERVICE INCLUDED:
- Properties listed in our site are fully equipped with bed linens, towels, cooking utensils etc. Items such as toilet paper, soap and drinking water are provided at the villa upon arrival. Gratuities for house hold staff shall be left to guest's discretion.
SEASONS
This is general categorization of season. For your information there are some villas which have a different or various range of Low, High, and Peak season.
- Low Season: Jan 09 - June 30 (Except Easter week and Chinese New year)
- High Season: Chinese New year, Easter week, July 01 - July 31, Sept 01 - Sept 15.
- Peak Season: Aug 01 - Aug 31 and Dec 20 - Jan 08
EVENT AND PARTY
Most of Villa in Bali owns their rules of using the villa as party and event venue and there are villa managements who are charging Local Community (Banjar) fee and a supplement fee for events and parties equivalent the rate of one night villa rental. Normal bookings are for vacation purposes and special permission must be obtained in case guests are planning to hold an event in which more people are involved than 150% of the capacity of the villa. It is highlighted also that villa owner will not accept a booking involving a function, party, ceremony or whatsoever without prior confirmation. In case that you would hold events in which many people will attend such as a wedding party, it is suggested to communicate with the agent in which case the agent will recommend a good-service organizer.
NUMBER OF PARTY AND SUITABILITY
- The number of persons occupying the property should not exceeds the maximum number mentioned in the description unless by prior arrangement.
- ABL Tours reserves the right to refuse any booking.
PROVISIONS, SERVICES AND STAFF:
All villas listed in our sites have minimum 2 household staff and the villa is equipped with bed linens, towels, cooking utensils, etc. For all clienteles, airport pick-up/drop off is available upon request.
PAYMENTS ACCEPTED:
- With 0% surcharge of administration fee we accept payment using credit card (Visa Card, Amex, MasterCard, JCB, Discover, and Diners only).It must be processed in Indonesian Rupiah's and will be converted at the prevailing-bank selling rate for US Dollar.
- 50% of the rental amount must be wired to ABL Tours & Travel within two (2) working days after our confirmation of reservation has been given.
- In the case of bookings made 45 days or less prior to arrival, full payment is required within two (2) working days, or on arrival, if less than two (2) working days, whichever comes first.
- Final payment is required at least 45 days prior to arrival for Low Season and 60 days for High/Peak Season bookings. Payment must be received promptly in order to guarantee your reservation.
- Payments by Traveler's Cheques or personal cheques, will not be accepted.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Telegraphic Transfer - All charges incurring for Telegraphic Transfer transactions will be borne by the client including 30 USD to cover local bank expenses.

PRO FORMA INVOICE
After having confirmed your reservation, break down of pro forma invoice is clearly stated and sent to you and quoted in USD. All transaction will be converted into Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)** and the exchange rate is based on the day of transaction. . ** This monitory policy accords to Bank Indonesia (Central Bank of Indonesia) and ABL Tours and Travel has to obey.
E-VOUCHER and E-CUSTOMER RECEIPT
E-voucher and E-Customer Receipt will be sent to you after payment has been done. Please print this e-voucher and bring together with you and show to the receptionist of the Villa upon check in. Copy voucher is also sent by ABL Tours & Travel Ltd. to the respective Villa. Only service(s) stated on the e-voucher will be on ABL Tours & Travel's account and other expenses is on your personal account.
CANCELLATIONS
- Should you be forced to cancel the reservation which has been made, you are obliged to inform us in written of the cancellation. The cancellation will not be effective and valid until we receive this writing at least 61 days prior to arrival in Low Season, or 91 days prior to arrival in High and Peak Season.
- Deposit will be refunded in full minus US$ 1,000.00 OR 30% of the amount received (whichever is greater), if the booking is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival (91 days for Christmas/New Year bookings).
- In the case that the reservation is cancelled less than 61 days prior to arrival the deposit will be forfeited.
- The final payments are non-refundable.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend to arrange an all-inclusive insurance package which covers all expenses in the event you should cancel the reservation due to personal matter or world events. As deposits and rental payments are not refundable after reservation has been confirmed. See also here above at chapter cancellations.
CHECK OUT TIME
- Check-out time is 11 AM and Check-in after 14:00 hours
- Day use up to 6 PM at half day rental charges
- Day use up to 11 PM at one night rental charges
DAMAGE AND LOSSES
- Clienteles should leave the property and its content in a good and clean condition. If there are damages or losses during the occupancy, the clients should pay for it. Furthermore, the villa owner has his/her right to repossess the villa if the client or member of party causes extreme damage or nuisance or gets engaged into any unlawful activity.
- ABL Tours shall not be liable to the client or to any other occupier or guest on the property for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience caused, and will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

- ABL Tours will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expenses or inconvenience which may be cause directly or indirectly by force majeure or events beyond of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
- Please be informed that some villas require a security deposit and these villas will ask the
deposit upon the arrival and will return it in full on the departure day unless there is a damage/repair need to be done. In this case the return of the deposit will be effected after the repairs or substitutes have been done. If client has returned home already, the remainder of the deposit will be transferred to his/her bank account.
LIABILITY
- ABL Tours will not be responsible under any circumstances to refund any unused portion of with respect to accommodations, car rentals, including any substitutions. If any service accommodations are substituted ABL Tours will do her utmost to provide an at least equivalent equipment, accommodation etc.
- If in the likely event we have to force you to cancel the reservation have been made due to various reasons, ABL tours will in good faith endeavor to substitute the villa with the same standard or comparable type.
- ABL Tours disclaims any and all liability for property loss or damage, as well as injury including death sustained by any person whilst residing at a private villa, or whilst engaged on any tour, whether the loss or injury occurs as a result of breach of contractual obligations of Villa Owner, its servants, employees or ABL Tours.

- Please note that drugs are strongly prohibited in Indonesia and considered as a heavy crime. Death penalty still exists in Indonesia, and in drug cases often used.
- In case of legal disputes the Indonesian Law prevails.
